If you have multiple drains that are not draining or if water is coming up through a floor drain in your basement, this could mean hat your sewer lead going to the street or the sewer main in the street is plugged.

Call the City of Brighton Wastewater Plant at 810-227-9479 and press "1" to access the emergency mailbox to leave a message. You should call us first before calling a plumber to verify that the problem is not in the City's sewer main.
What Portion of the Sewer and Water Leads Connecting My Home or Business to the City's system am I Responsible for Maintaining?
The City is responsible for the sewer and water mains and the portion of the leads that is in the City's Right-of-Way. The portion of sewer and water leads on private property are the homeowner's responsibility to maintain and repair. If it is determined that the portion of lead in the City's Right-of-Way, the City will make the needed repair.
