Utility Billing Division

The Utility Billing Division of the Finance Department is responsible for the oversight and administration of the City’s utility billing records, files and reporting system. This includes working closely with the Departments of Community Development and Public Services in making sure all accounts are properly metered and all meters are accurately and timely read for proper billings to the City’s utility customers. This also includes the proper receipting, depositing and accounting for the collections of the utility bills, as well as all related customer service.

City of Brighton Utility Customers:

Effective immediately, the City of Brighton is providing you the option to request your monthly utility bills to be sent to you electronically by email. This option to request your electronic utility bill can be accessed through the following link.

Online Utility Billing.

You will have to first register with UBPayments.com to gain online access to your utility account. Once you have online access, you can then choose an option to have your monthly utility bill emailed to you in addition to continue having a paper bill mailed to you, or you can choose to be notified by email of your monthly utility bill and discontinue receiving a paper bill in the mail. Signing up for the option to discontinue your paper utility bill will save the City of Brighton over $6 per year per account. If you have any questions or need assistance in signing up for this option please contact 810-225-8041.
