Public Services Overview

Department of Public Works Building The Public Works Department, commonly referred to as the "DPS", is responsible for a wide variety of services and activities:

City-owned facilities and grounds maintenance
Cemetery
Refuse and recycling
Street lighting
Street maintenance (as required by Act 51)
Traffic control
Stormwater operations
Sidewalk maintenance
