As
always, property tax and utility payments can be paid in
person at City Hall.
For your convenience the City of Brighton has installed a
Payment Drop Box on the Exterior of City Hall, located to
the right of the double doors front entrance of City Hall.
You may use this Drop Box at anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week to drop off your tax, utility bill or miscellaneous
payments. Please include your return address on the return
envelope and your remittance form in the return envelope.

Direct Payment (Water & Sewer)
Direct payment is available for City water and sewer
utility bills.
- Call the utility billing clerk at (810) 225-8041 for
details.
- Copies of household utility bills automatically deducted
from checking or savings accounts will still be sent for
your records.
- Do not submit payment if you have received a
confirmation for the direct payment service.
- This program is only available for utility payments, not
tax payments.

Credit Card Payment (Utilities and Property Taxes)
Customers can now pay utility bills and property taxes by
credit card by clicking here.
- Credit card companies charge an additional fee for this
service, based on the amount of the bill.
- To pay by credit card, call 1-888-2PAYTAX, and use the
city's jurisdiction code: 3220
