Community
Development Overview
The Community
Development Department administers planning and development
regulations. It also provides the following:
- Administration of the City's building & building safety
programs
- Site plan administration
- Sign ordinance
- Capital Improvement Program (CIP) administration
- Assistance to customers with variance requests
The Community Development director also provides staff
support to the planning commission and coordinates consulting
entities.
Community Development is made up of five full-time
employees, including: the Community Development & Planning
Director, Deputy Planner, Management and Development Services
Manager, Building Clerk, and Building Inspector. Several
contractual employees also provide service to customers.
